Many retail chains are designing mezzanines into their store design for inventory storage away from the selling floor. Mezzanines provide a convenient and inexpensive method to increase inventory and reduce inventory space. This easy-to-use design is an efficient, productive and inexpensive method to move inventory up and returned. Autoquip provides Vertical Reciprocating Conveyors (VRC) to many of the nations retail stores for just these reasons.

Autoquip supplies our most cost effective model, the Freightlite, to those retailers who require low travel (typically 12 – 14 feet), a normal pallet size inventory size (5’x5’), and lower capacity (3000 lbs). The Freightlite is the workhorse, providing support to the most retail stores nationwide.

Autoquip also provides for those high volume retailers who designed multi level mezzanines and who wish to automate their inventory management. Utilizing conveyor feeds to an Autoquip 4 Post VRC design, our engineers design a system to load, transport, and unload multiple pallets through programmed routines.
